About the event
The Open Source Summit will gather participants from various federal agencies and programs like CMS, CDC, HHS, DHS, CISA, USDS and others, Nava’s federal health portfolio, as well as well-known organizations making strides in the federal open source space. The event consists of lighting talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities for participants to attend.
Please note that space is limited for this in-person event, and registration is available on a first-come-first serve basis. We will have a photographer and videographer in attendance, and recordings will become publicly available after the event concludes.

Lightning Talks
Lighting talks will last approximately 5 minutes each, and be conducted back to back. You can expect presentations from different agencies on open source in government technology – including the shifting paradigm to learning in the open, security and privacy measures, lessons learned from outside the US, and more.
