Nava Labs

Prototyping systems change

Nava Labs is a new, philanthropically funded division within Nava PBC focused on prototyping policy and systems changes within government programs and advocating for their adoption. This interdisciplinary team leverages Nava’s deep delivery experience to identify critical wedges where philanthropy can add velocity to public interest projects and build more trustworthy public institutions.

Unlocking technology for WIC

Nava Labs’ first focus area envisions a future where digital tools make it easier for families to receive and staff to administer benefits through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), helping 6 million parents and children and reducing infant mortality by 33 percent.
