As of February 2026, Beam has been acquired by Nava Public Benefit Corporation. Nava is utilizing Beam's capabilities and expertise to enhance Strata, a suite of open source tools for building end-to-end government systems.

Beam enhances Strata’s case management, claims processing, and payment capabilities, making Strata the leading open-source option for building end-to-end government systems. With Beam, Nava has also gained an experienced team that delivered complex systems in production, served as payment provider of record for dozens of programs, and disbursed more than $400M to eligible recipients.

Through this acquisition, we’re better positioned to deliver on our mission of making government services simple and effective.
