Nava awarded contract with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care

We’ll help the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education’s Department of Early Education and Care build systems that connect families with child care financial assistance opportunities.

Nava is thrilled to announce that we were awarded a 10-month contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Education (EOE) and Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) to build custom software for a system that connects families with child care and financial assistance opportunities.

As a public benefit corporation, Nava is on a mission to make government services simple and effective. That’s why we’re excited to deliver a seamless digital experience for people navigating the child care financial assistance process.

“Making child care financial assistance more accessible is key to supporting families and the workforce in Massachusetts,” said Nava’s Chief Delivery Officer Jodi Leo. “We’re excited to use our experience with human-centered design and cloud technology to help Massachusetts break down barriers to child care access.”

This contract builds on our long-standing partnership with Massachusetts to deliver excellent digital services across programs. For over five years, we’ve partnered with Massachusetts to help build, operate, and scale the Commonwealth’s first paid family and medical leave program (PFML). We’re also working with the Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) and several other Massachusetts’ agencies to improve experiences with digital tools and offer human-centered design recommendations for an integrated benefits portal.
