Nava and Tribility scale support for the Department of Veterans Affairs

The new award builds on our partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs to advance AI-enabled health care solutions enterprise-wide.

Nava is thrilled to announce a new subcontract award, teaming with Tribility LLC on a two-year, $2.9 million contract for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The contract supports the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and National Artificial Intelligence Institute (NAII) as they carry out VA’s enterprise-wide AI strategy, expanding AI-enabled solutions that improve health care for Veterans.

Nava is a public benefit corporation on a mission to make government services work better for the people they’re meant to serve. Throughout our partnership with VA, we’ve been trusted to hone our use of generative AI to improve Veteran services. With this new award, we’ll help VHA and NAII manage risks, develop AI governance guidance, and drive promising AI ideas through a process of pilots, evaluation, and potential adoption.

“We’re proud to grow our partnership with VA, building on the trust we’ve established over the years to take on new work that directly benefits Veterans,” said Jodi Leo, Nava’s Chief Delivery Officer. “As our footprint with VA grows, so does our opportunity to make lasting improvements across the Veteran experience.”

VA has been one of Nava’s partners since our company’s earliest days. The trust began when we helped build technology that enabled VA staff to make appeals decisions more quickly. Over the years, we’ve helped VA make significant strides in modernizing its digital services,  including redesigning va.gov, accelerating disability benefits for Veterans, and supporting VA’s Secure, Performant, Reliable, and User-Centered Experiences (SPRUCE).
