Nava is excited to announce we’ve joined Databricks’ Brickbuilder Partner Network as a Bronze Tier Consulting Partner. Through this partnership, we’ll have access to Databricks’ proprietary architecture, which offers one open source and unified platform for data, analytics, and AI, enabling us to deliver data and AI initiatives faster.
Nava is a public benefit corporation on a mission to make government services simple and effective. With Databricks’ modern architecture and AI-driven analytics tools, we’ll be able to deliver on our mission faster and more effectively while maintaining high standards of privacy.
“We’re thrilled to be a Databricks partner. Their AI-enabled platform helps us guide our partners in implementing and scaling data engineering, machine learning, and analytics initiatives,” said Samantha Kwok, Nava’s Vice President of Engineering. “It also enables us to deliver AI and data solutions responsibly, advancing Nava’s mission to improve public services.”
Our partnership with Databricks further strengthens our commitment to responsible AI implementation in public sector initiatives. Currently, Nava Labs is partnering with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) and the State of Maryland to pilot AI-powered tools that modernize and automate community engagement requirement verification for benefit programs like SNAP and Medicaid. These tools can help prevent erroneous benefit terminations, reduce manual workload and administrative burden for beneficiaries and caseworkers, and drastically improve data accuracy.
